Our aims and objectives are to record for posterity the history,
whereabouts and anecdotes of steam operated fire engines and their users.
These fire appliances may be:

History is important to every one of us and if a written record of these
mighty machines and events is not kept, they will be lost forever.
The magnificent sight of galloping horses drawing steamers under full
steam on their way to conflagrations have gone. But with your help a
record of these events can be kept for future generations.
This is why we are asking for your help. Should you have any information
whatever on steamers and are willing to pass it on, please send me an
E-mail.
